Two weeks ago I had my first real games of DBMM. The games involved a fair few Cv(S) vs Cv(S) combats. We ended up in a right old mess which was only sorted out by the kind assistance of Geoff Pearson. Since then I've been studying the grading very closely.
I started with Geoff Pearson's excellent table of grading factors and other stuff from the Yahoo! DBMM group. I think I've got the hang of it and the results of my efforts are available at http://tinyurl.com/ytxwbl as a pdf file.
Looking at the grids everything is really quite simple as nearly all gradings only apply to one side at any one time. The only exception I can see involves a pair of superior mounted in close combat (no wonder
we had a problem) an this is obvious from the relevant grid. The gradings then apply to both sides in all combinations (win/lose, lose/win and the draw). The net effect is the superior gradings always cancelling one another out.
I hope I've got this right. Please have a look at the grids and let me know if you spot any errors.

HI there Martin,
thanks for the hard work. I am still confused. The grid seems clear except it is unclear who takes the factor: ie.. an additional comment saying who gets the -1 +1 or some explanatory comment would be good.
Or maybe my brain just hurts too much from testing all day.

Scratch that last comment... brain just kicked in. Looks good, I will add it to the back of my DBMM rules.

Martin,
Can I put it on the main DBMM website?
Thanks

Hi Toby
Martin has said we can already, I've just not had time to do it yet. :)
Best Regards

Please go ahead. You are more than welcome to list it.
If you could add a link to the blog somewhere that would be great. I'll probably add more stuff as I play more games - I'm working on a play sheet at the moment.
