Hello again,
Reading on P35 Overlaps, that Knights (F) based in a required wedge (e.g. Macedonian Companions) are only overlapped by Light Horse.
The bullet above says that overlapped mounted fighting in its own bound, can be overlapped by Bows [including X].
I paraphrase slightly, but I think I've understood it right, so which is it in the case of Knight (F)?
I know which one I'm hoping for!
Thanks, Steve

It states that the overlap is ignored if
and then lists the bullets which are the situations where overlap is ignored (so as long as a bullet point is applicable then you will ignore the overlap)
so Kn(F) in wedge is only overlapped by LH
other wedged Kns (Germans, Byzantine Klib) are never overlapped
This is a big benefit for Companions but there are other bits of the rules that remove some of the benefit.

Thanks David,
That is actually how I read it :)

It states that the overlap is ignored if:
- other wedged Kns (Germans, Byzantine Klib) are never overlapped
Only applies to foot other than Bw.

My understanding is that wedges are never overlapped (except Kn(F) by LH), but I will need to check my rules tonight (I don't have them at work).

No, knights based in a required wedge can only be overlapped if the Kn are (F) and their opponents are LH.
overlaps are ignored if
- The overlapped element is Knights based in a required wedge, unless (F) fighting Light Horse
