:) Going to a 200ap comp. soon and was wandering about terrain selection.
In the rules for 200ap games it states that the max/min number of pieces is reduced by 1
Therefore the invader gets 0-1 and defender gets 1-3 easy so far.
The rules then go on to state that no 2FE features can be used and only 1 FE sized piece can be used.
My question is can both the defender and invader take a 1 FE each or a 1 FE between them?
If it is one between them and the invader takes the 1 FE does this restrict the defender to 3 x.5 FE?
Even if the defender gets to place a 1 FE along with 3x.5 FE he/she can only place 2.5 FE?
Am I missing something?

Hi William
I don't think you are missing anything - it is possibly not worded 100% clearly regarding the 2FE but it certainly looks like the defender can choose up to a maximum of 2.5FE. My opinion is that it would be 1FE each but the wording indicates it is one per game......
As for the invaders minimum number of area features, shouldn't that be 0 less 1 giving -1? :)

One each - it is in the commentary.

A defender can never place more than 2.5 FE of Terrain Features - with exceptions for Gentle Hills
and Open Fields.

Nice catch with the commentary!
