Title: Korean Naval: Geobukson
Post by: arnimlueck on February 01, 2009, 09:51:53 AM
Having completed my Chinese collection from Warring States to Ming I started painting Koreans, Steppe Warriors, Tibetans and Nan Chao two years ago. In DBM my favorite list was Yi Dynasty Korean from Book 4. Let's see what happens to the Koreans under DBMM but I still like the period. So the army itself is finished, but as here in Germany we have one Naval-biased tournament in April I of course had to have the "Turtle Ships". Probably what is meant in Book 4 is the basic type of a Kobukson vessel, as the famous Geobukson fighting off the Japanese invasion have been constructed after 1500.

I found no vessels to buy that look good for a 15mm army on 80mm bases. So I went on doing them myself
