Title: Moving disguised troops
Post by: foxgom on January 23, 2010, 03:56:01 PM
Hi

how do Hd disguised as Sp move?

As Hd or as Sp?

I suspect as Hd, but this gives the disguise away.

The strategem description states

"They cannot move further than their real type".

As it turns out, SP and Hd have the same move anyway.

Hordes always cost an extra PIP to move, even straight ahead.

This betrays the strategem to anyone counting PIPs.

So "burn" the extra PIP if you want to maintain the illusion!  There's nothing that says that you have to spend them all.   :)

Yes - you can choose to leave a PIP apparently unused - you don't have to tell your opponent that it was for moving disguised horde......but you would have to make a point each turn of saying "and I won't use that last PIP"...or however many it was you needed extra.
