Title: Shooting at a weird DBE
Post by: landmeister on January 26, 2011, 11:47:22 AM
What combat factor is used when a DBE Cv in front + Ax in rear is shot at on the rear element (see samurai list)? I read a DBE make outcome moves as the front element, but what abot the combat factor?

Thank you in advance.

P13: "... counts as 2 elements..."  and being shot at is not one of the exceptions. Therefore the combat factor of the DBE target is the normal combat factor for whichever of the two elements is being shot at, in this case Ax.

P4: "Mounted troop types are .... (including any foot required to be double based with them)." Therefore the combat factor of bowmen shooting at the DBE is the factor against mounted.
