Rules Questions / Shooting and aiding

Are you allowed to select a Primary shooter and then select 'aiders' to support it, even if the aiders would have a different target if they were shooting alone...

Imagine two long lines facing off, one of archers. One archer is in front of a general element and wants to use to two archers on the left and right as aids... but each has an element directly in front of them and closer than the general, but all are in arc.

Do you have the freedom to dedicate them as aiders and not take their normal shots?  Or MUST you always shoot the closest element (other than Art).

It does help, thanks.  If you are averaging regular generals dice does the dummy dice get used in the calculation (imagine it must or it becomes obvious it is a dummy). And likewise is it a real dice you can allocate to a general... how do you tell the dummy from a real one... and if you do doesnt that tell the opponent?

What on earth is the extra 4th dice ( a dummy dice) for? What if I had 4 commands, do I get a 5th dice? Can someone explain what it means for me, pls.

Rules Questions / Disguished troops stratagem

In the Hussite list I was planning to make the Bohemian Bw(X/I) to appear/swap as Halberdmen Bd(O)... is that within the definition.. what does 'type' mean?

Or is that stratagem really only available to very few lists because of the "if specified in their army lists..."
