DBMM at Wintercon 2015
« on: February 22, 2015, 10:56:11 AM »
Canberra Games Society will once again be hosting a mid-year DBMM v2.0 competition at the Wintercon convention on 18-19 July 2015.

Wintercon is held at Exhibition Park, Canberra, Australia.  The event this year will be a four round competition, two games starting at 9am and 1:30pm each day.

Entry details will be available in due course at http://www.cgs.asn.au/wintercon/ .  Online entry and army list submission will be due by 10 July 2015 (late lists will be available for review by all competitors).

Armies will be 400 points, with 15 additional points allowed for strategems only.

The theme for this year is Men of Iron (adapted with thanks from the Men of Iron theme on the Tagmata website).  This theme is based around European knights and infantry slogging it out with lance and spur, spear and shield, for 1000 years up to the celebrated ‘infantry revolution’ of the Battle of Golden Spurs at Courtrai in Flanders in 1302AD.

Permitted armies will be as per the following list.  In addition, only allies from this list will be allowed, and armies must be as permitted within the years 302AD to 1302AD (inclusive).
