80p extra movment to line up in contact

Is this extra movement part of your move, or is it an additional, separate move?

Example 1.

An enemy element is just outside difficult going. To contact it lined up I must enter the difficult.
I am cavalry in good going, moving 240 in good, 80 if reaching difficult.
The distance to a lined up contact is 200 paces.
The distance to partial contact without entering the difficult is 180 paces.
Can I move 180 in good going to partial contact, then use the 80 p extra to line up?
Or does the fact that the extra 80 p ends in difficult mean that I can only use 80p of normal tactical movement in the first place?

Example 2.

I move through a 1 element wide gap between two enemy side edges.
I partially contact an enemy element with my front.
Can I use the extra 80p to move sideways and line up?

This can be in either bound, is extra to normal maximum move, and expends no extra PIPs.
Pg 33

If you can make legal "partial" contact then you can use the 80p - the extra is dependant ONLY on making the initial contact and is not affected by difficult or rough going....although if you can't move on a craggy hill then you can't use it to line up on a craggyhill since it requires you to be able to move in that terrain in the first place!! (ditto for ships on mand, or land elements on seas!!)
