The situation as regards Book 1 and Book 4 for the Challenge are as follows

Book 4 will be the DBM v.2 Army Lists (as modified by the appendices of the DBMM
rules). only Romans (not too many of them) and Byzantines can have regular
baggage. All others converted from the DBM army list books may have irregular
(O) or (I) baggage except that armies that are completely mounted (including
mounted infantry) can have irregular (F). In accordance with the notes on p.1 of
DBMM Army Lists, allied commands of less than 10 troop elements cannot have more
than 1 baggage element.

The qualifying draft for Book 1 will be the latest DBMM draft as of 23:59 GMT on
March 18th. That gives 3 days to get the list in and Phil two weeks to wreck or
enhance lists (Sargonid and Scythian come to mind ;-)). I have left it as late
as I can to ensure we get the most up to date lists  Please do not submit any
Book 1 lists prior to that date as they may subsequently be invalid.

Phil has kindly agreed to keep a copy in the Yahoo files (see
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/DBMMlist/files/ ) and will ensure as a worst
case that the umpire/list checker will have a copy  see http://www.bhgs.co.uk/
- Challenge section for contact details.

I have already received the first list and a little beauty it is too. A well
rounded tournament tiger of a list which in skilled hands will be almost
unbeatable. Fortunately...

Remember closing date (to avoid penalties)for army lists are two weeks prior so
they need to be in on or before 21st March.

The BHGS Challenge - simply the best

Kind Regards

Nope, it's mine.  I don't have 25 Kn(S) in my figure collection.

It's well-rounded in the sense that it scored pretty-much 0 at Cancon last year.  ;o)
