BTW

You wouldent happen to know anything about the format, is it a part of a show/convention or a stand alone turnament. And would it be worth whole to try and arrive early for a social game or two (ive never played a competition game) so i need to brush up on the rules and get a grip on competition etiquette and so on.

Hi Fredric

it's a stand alone competition. There won't be time to squeeze in a social game on the day itself as we have to fit in three rounds, but if you're around on the day before we might be able to arrange something.

You can email me off-list at mickhession"at"yahoo.co.uk for details

Cheers
Mick

;) Nota convention as such, fun all the same.

I would not worry about not playing to much, I am taking an absolute killer of an army (suicidal more like) garanteed to finish about 3 places below bottom  ;D

Lovely!

That sounds great!

Ill talk to a friend of mine too see if i can get him to tag along, and check what flights are available.

Mick: ill send you a mail, it would be great if you have the time to play a game or two to give me a rules run down.

Wiliam: Nice of you to keep me company :)

Since when have you been a Kn(S) Will ??

You think you have problems - I have 12 lists drawn up and can't choose.....

;D well after being beaten twice by the bane of the south with my chosen army (in one night) I will stand by my xconviction of finishing 3 places below last, would be lucky to get that!

Kn(S) status here reflects my all round goood guy efforts to sort out DBMM problems of other players, which

1. only confuses the questions more

2. Upsets a few, more sensible posters

and 3. proves I cannot shut up  ;)
