I've advocated that the Late Romans should have False Reinforcements as a stratagem based on Libanius' description of the Battle of Argentoratum where the Roman baggage guards came off the hill they were on and this led the Allemanni to believe that Roman reinforcements had appears, hastening the break of the Allemannic army.
