Navarrese

Can a Sub General have Free company Gascon troops men-at-arms in his command. I ask as I copied a list from a war gaming web site which also had Gascon brigans Irr SP ( O) as part of the baggage camp.
The army list clarification state
List 39 – Navarrese
“A free company ally-general can only command English and/or Gascons.” A free company ally command can contain only English or only Gascons or both. It must have the minimums for each origin used in the command.

It does not say that free company troops cant be controlled by a Navarrese C-in-C/Sub general.

clarification would be much appreciated

I think they can as other indented allies such as the Italian allies are described as below:
Italian condottieri ally-general [commanding all and only Italians] - Reg Kn (S) @ 25AP

Free company generals have no such restriction:
Free company ally-general - Irr Kn (O) @ 15AP or (only before 1379) Reg Kn (I) @ 20AP
Later the it specifies 'A free company ally-general can only command English and/or Gascons'
As most of the Navarrese army at this time was mercenary based it seem logical to allow Navarrese generals to control them. Otherwise it should read 'Free company ally-general [commanding all Free Company]- Irr Kn (O) @ 15AP or (only before 1379) Reg Kn (I) @ 20AP'

I agree - Navarrese generals can command free company troops.
