Purchasing Army baggage

Hi all,

Just a few quick questions regarding army Bge.

Apologies if they have already been asked somewhere before, I am new to the forum world.

I use Book 2 Mithridatic. It has listed Camp followed by Irr Bge (O), and Irr Bge (I) both are 0-2 per general.
I must be missing something, does this mean I can purchase additional Bge at the indicated cost for my army to add to the existing Bge for the commands?, and is this treated the same as normal command Bge?
Does this mean that with 1 CinC, 2 Sub generals and an Ally general I could have a maximum of 15 Bge of various types and can they be mixed in the Bge command?

Apologies for all the questions, I am confused by this.

Many thanks.

The rules state that "Each general has 0-2 Baggage elements". So no command can ever have more than two Baggage elements (except when the general himself is a Bge (S) element). But _all_ baggage must be bought and paid for: if when you said "additional Bge ... to add to the existing Bge for the commands" you were thinking that commands get _free_ baggage as was the case in DBM, then that is the source of your confusion.

The line in the Mithridatic list "Camp - Irr Bge (O) @ 2AP, or [...stuff...] Irr Bge (I) @ 1AP  0-2 per general" means that you can buy 0-2 elements of baggage for each general's command, and they can be either (O) or (I) (or a mix).
