Here's a couple of questions about the SRB list:

1. With the pre-429 option, it provides for some upgrades to apply only to the C-in-C or his command (C-in-C's element and scouts) while other upgrades aren't so restricted. So, the C-in-C must be upgraded to Reg Cv (O) while the ally-generals can't be. But the companions in all commands must be upgraded to Reg Cv (I). So we have the situation where the ally-generals are irregular but must command regular troops. Is this intended or is it a typo?

2. With the Riothamus in Gaul option, can he be considered to be Armorican (despite Barker's scepticism, which in any case encourages acceptance of a non-Armorican option rather than ruling it out)? If so, does that mean he'd have access to Alan allies?

Additional question to the above questions...

In the second paragraph to the list notes, on line 15, it says "Regulars must be in the C-in-C's command."

If this comment relates to the Britannia Prima/Riothamus option, it's irrelevant as those list options already all read "Replace C-in-C's X with Y", meaning the quoted statement above is redundant.

But if it relates to the list in general, does that mean the Britain before 429AD options are only applicable to the C-in-C's command - that is, that the Alae, Equites Dalmatae, Legionaries and Auxiliary cohorts can only be in the C-in-C's command? This is particularly relevant to the Alae, which (as mentioned in the OP) appear to be required for all commands, without the ally-generals themselves also being upgraded.

I don't have the list to hand, but if the list notes preclude ally generals controlling troops that would otherwise be compulsory for them, then they can't have them (i.e. the list notes override the general rule).
