yep - so it's back to I charge in my bound you charge in yuors, and hey opresto - "my bound/your bound" stuff.....

Which works BTW....it's been in DBR for years.  It's certainly more complicated than not having it, but it's not very complicated at all on an absolute scale of things.

If an element moved into melee contact then +1.
What is hard about that ?
On reflection though it may increase the pre-charge dance between units at charge distance.

It still requires remembering which elements moved this turn. I have difficulty enough remembering which combats I have done already this phase :(

Elements only ever move into contact in their own move, so you're saying eactly the same thing in a different way.

among other problems - close combat is not always "contact" - foot vs horse archers for example......
