OpenOffice Spreadsheet
« on: September 07, 2009, 01:07:50 PM »
for those not running Windows and wanting a spreadsheet that was inspired by the old NWA DBM stuff I did an OpenOffice version for DBMM. Tested with OO 2.x, 3.0.

There is also a battle log that help getting the setup of the game right

Yes, I had your sheet in front of me. just redraw the same thing on the OO draw sheet.

There is basically no own design work into this exept the logbook format that was just mad to drive me along the setup procedure. The main intent was to move all the good things around on a technical platform that has low support in the DBMM world today.

For all the good things, bits and pieces: THANKS

OpenOffice Spreadsheet for DBMM 2.0
« Reply #7 on: August 13, 2010, 04:09:29 PM »
Wednesday I recieved my DBMM 2.0 book. So now all versions for DBMM 1.1 are deleted from my homepage and you will find the spreadsheet for DBMM 2.0 at:
http://www.s.netic.de/arnim/dbmseiten/regeln/OpenOffice_DBMM-ArmyList-Generator_latest.ots

I am to blame that I did not include a comment here: the DBMM 2.0 version needs OpenOffice 3.0 or higher. I had a little statement in the file but of course nobody read that. If someone needs to use Openoffice 2.x, I can send a version with less alarm signals and rule checking.

It's any chanche to make an option to make armys for DBmm100/200. The changes need would be deal with baggage effect and general costs. And make stratagen ineligible for Dbmm100, but that ism't really important.

First to answer Amargo: yes I will do something soon - you can modify the AP values yourself if you like, the password is given on the usage page.

And to all: I fixed a bug. My Baggage(S) still had 4ME in the template. It is 3ME now as is correct for DBMM 2.0. Please update your templates.

Yes, i alredy do it. For DBMM100 it was necesary to redesing a litlle bit, cause a lot of things, like the commands, are not needed.

And version 13 brings an additional alternative print format. For those who like tho ultra-compact printout I added this output format to the template. It is not good for list checking et c. but several people requested it. Now you can have both...

Re: OpenOffice Spreadsheet now also for LibreOffice

Version 14 fixes bugs reported from gamers using LibreOffice, a fork of the OpenOffice development. The baggage column was not looking nice with this office suite. Now this is fixed. You can use the template in OpenOffice and in LibreOffice.
