A couple of questions about 200AP games
« on: March 04, 2014, 12:30:11 PM »
1. Am I correct that the cost of stratagems is not changed for 200AP games?

2. The rules for 200AP games say that the additional cost for generals, including brilliance and inertness, is halved rounding down. So if I want to take an inert regular C-in-C, the additional cost would be (20-75)/2 = -27.5 rounded to -28? And if I want to take a brilliant irregular C-in-C, the additional cost would be (10+25)/2 = 17.5 rounded down to 17?

Correct. This indeed makes them generally worse value in DBMM 200 than in the full-size game.

I believe so (tho I wouldn't be shocked if it turns out Phil thinks -27.5 rounds "down" to -27).
