I run CLCL (http://tinyurl.com/gmj0) and use it to paste the signature, if the forum doesn't do so automatically, with a few keystrokes.

I restricted the length of people's signatures to prevent people putting images in their signatures. I don't like them as they break up the flow of the topic and make it difficult to read the forum at work without it being bloody obvious that its not work.
