Hi

Page 15
I send out two scouts and both roll a 4.

a) the enemy has his elements in line, all the same distance forward.
The rule is for "only the furthest forward ambushing element" to be revealed.
Which one is it? Only one ? Or more because they are all the same distance forward?

b) The first scout has revealed one ambushing element, who is now no longer ambushing, because he has been seen.
The second scout has also rolled a four.
Does he discover a second element or does he rediscover the already revealed ex-ambusher?

Hi Neil,

This how I would play it:
a) Just one element it says, so not more than that. Because the scouting player can't choose his opponent has to choose one of his most forward elements in ambush.
b) You allocate the scouting elements simultaneously. I you role at least one 5 or 6 with them all hidden elements are discovered, if you don't but at least role one 4 the most forward element (just one) in ambush is discovered.

By having more scouts you upgrade the change to discover the enemy at the greater chance to loose some of them.

Greetings,

Marcel

Yep - only 1 element is revelaed no mater how many 4's are rolled because 1 element is revealed if "any" scouting element rolls a 4.

As Marcel says, more elements rolling gives you more chance of getting a 5 or 6.
