Inert Ally Generals.

I would appreciate anyone else's reading of the rules on inert Ally Generals.

As I read it, an Inert Ally General removes 1 pip from his pip dice for movement/pip
purposes only. Other effects such as determining unreliabiliy and reliability are based
on the raw dice before deducting 1 pip for movement/pip purposes.

Therefore as far as the first throw is concerned I don't believe the 1 is removed to before
determining reliability. i.e. he is only unreliable if his raw score is a 1. Not if it is a 1 or a 2.

Also if he should be unreliable and the C in C spends the pips to allow the chance
of becoming reliable I believe he becomes reliable on a throw of a 5 or a 6. i.e.
not if he throws only a 6.

What are other peoples interpretations of this ?

Thanks

Rich

Hi Rich,

The actual words on p14 is "unadjusted PIP score", so yes, you are right.

We assume that the "unadjusted" carries on the 3rd dot-point.
