DBMM tournament in Rheindahlen, Germany

Friday 26th of February to Sunday 28th of February the Rheindahlen Wargames Club has the ACTION 2010 going on. More Info on the main event on http://www.rheindahlen-wargames.com/action/overview_e.htm

Marc Lang will organize the DBMM tournament:

ACTION DBMM 2010 in Rheindahlen Friday 26.02.2010 until Sunday 28.02.2010

We will play DBMM 1.0 (in case a newer version is available until 31st of January 2010 we will play the new version; if not we will stick to DBMM 1.0)

Weather and daytime rules are used if one of the opponents wishes to use them.
Please bring your own terrain.

We will use 420 AP armies, 20APs must be used for Stratagems or to buy a brillant general.
Victory points as per DBMM 1.0 rule book.

You get a +5VP bonus if your list reaches Marc until 15.1.2010.
You get a +2VPbonus if your list reaches Marc until 31.01.2010.

If your list was not recieved until 10.Feb.2010 it will be put up visibly before the tournament.

Prices go to the winner, the second, third place and we will have a surprise price.

Cost per participant is EUR 10,--

Minimum participants: 10
Maximum participants: 20

first game: friday 20:00-23:30
second game: saturday 09:00 - 12:30
third game: saturday 14:00 ? 17:30
fourth game: sunday 09:00 ? 12:30

Our British hosts offer low cost beds for the event - see the Rheindahlen website, they will publish a booking form soon.

And just to motivate the "inert" ones:
- the rheindahlen guys do speak english, the place is a british barrack
- from the Netherlands you just take the bus from Venlo
- usually you meet many British traders plus some German ones there; Some will accept strange money used by people living in splendid isolation (now that the Eurostar is frozen ;-))
