Does anyone know of any Osprey books on Alexander and his Successors?

Only Alexander.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Alexander-Osprey-Military-Nicholas-Sekunda/dp/1841768936
This is a combination of an MAA 'the Army of Alexander the Great' and the Campaign book. There is also an Elite book on the phalangites.
The Sekunda MAA book is okay but he has a thing about widespread use of uniforms which shows up in the plates. The Elite book is not one of their best.

Nothing on the Successors.

Thanks,
I have the Elite book, I think I'll try some of the figure Manufacturers to see if they've got Pictures of any Successors.

There are a good number of pics on manufacturers' websites.
There are also the Montvert books covering the later Seleucids and Ptolemies, if you can get them.

EDIT
http://www.ancientbattles.com/index_01_AncientBattles.html has a useful collection of images including some scans from the Monterts.

Thanks, My Figures were bought from the WRG 5th. Edition List so I have Asian archers and Seleucid Lt. Cavalry plus others that I'm slowly working out what they are.

I also have 80 pike and about 200 Hoplites.

As far as bases go, I bought 3 Packs of MM plastic Bases from memory plasic slides about a lot on gradients, would it be a good idea to to stick some thin card on the underside to act as a handbrake on hills?

Regards

Mike
